UANA Sadly Shares Passing of Past President Coaracy Nunes Filho
It is with great sorrow that Unión Americana de Natacion shares the passing of former UANA President Coaracy Nunes Filho on 14 May 2020.
Mr. Nunes Filho was a valuable member of the UANA family, serving faithfully as its president from 2011 through 2015, and he will be deeply missed by the UANA community at-large. He also served as the president of Confederação Brasileira de Desportos Aquáticos, the Brazilian Aquatic Sports Federation, for almost 30 years, from 1988 through 2017.
UANA extends its most sincere condolences and sympathies, and those of the entire UANA family, to the family of Mr. Nunes Filho as they go through these incredibly difficult times.

Unión Americana de Natación comparte con gran pesar el fallecimiento del ex presidente de la UANA, Coaracy Nunes Filho, el 14 de mayo de 2020.
El Sr. Nunes Filho fue un miembro valioso de la familia UANA, sirvió fielmente como su presidente desde 2011 hasta 2015, y la comunidad en general de UANA lo extrañará profundamente. También se desempeñó como presidente de la Confederação Brasileira de Desportos Aquáticos durante casi 30 años, desde 1988 hasta 2017.
UANA extiende sus más sinceras condolencias y simpatías, y las de toda la familia UANA, a la familia del Sr. Nunes Filho a medida que atraviesan estos tiempos increíblemente difíciles.
